Adult Literacy Program (ALP) | Literacy and Numeracy Content
Our ALP program can help you improve your reading, writing, and math skills. You will learn the following skills at your own pace:
Reading skills
Writing skills
Math skills
- Develop reading comprehension skills (understand what you read).
- Find information in what you read.
- Build your vocabulary.
- Improve your grammar and punctuation.
- Learn how to write ideas clearly.
- Learn how to write a sentence.
- Learn how to write a paragraph.
- Learn how to write essays (essay structure, i.e., introduction, body, and conclusion).
Learn basic math, for example, how to:
- Add
- Subtract
- Divide
- Multiply
- Find percentages
